This week a very special exhibition was held at Brightspace Gallery, Melbourne, displaying photographs, clothing and info about the 40 year history of the punk scene in Melbourne, with a focus on St. Kilda. The opening night of "PUNK JOURNEY - St. Kilda and Beyond" featured veteran avante garde performer, Ron Rude, as well as an awards ceremony paying homage to those who contributed to the punk community in unique and particular ways; fashion designers, venue owners, band bookers, radio announcers, record shops, performers, record labels and more. Vanessa Allan, Kelly Whitworth and I worked as a team documenting the evening.
