I have launched the website for my documentary about about Australian punk history.
"HARDCORE HISTORY - The Untold Story Of Australian Punk, is a feature film in development.
This documentary project traces the history of the Punk/Hardcore scene in Australia, exploring the music, creativity, isolation, social struggles and friendships that evolved from the early 1980s to now.
Hardcore History is about those who felt ‘out of step’ with the rest of the world; those who dared to be themselves and wanted to make a difference.
Hardcore History examines through interviews, anecdotes and archival footage how people from different backgrounds somehow came together through a shared love of music to create a lasting community.
Like the music itself, this project is ever-evolving, and will continue to develop as we explore the many stories that unfold."
